About one year after Google launched the public beta of Universal Analytics and a bit more when they announced the platform (October 2012), they have just released their first full featured stable version. What this means is that you will be able to use "all the features, reports, and tools of Classic Analytics (...) including Remarketing and Audience reporting".
In addition you will have access to custom user variables, finer setup of user timeouts, referral exclusion, online and offline integration etc..
To transfer your "old" classic google analytics account to the new universal analytics just click "Universal Analytics Upgrade" under your Property settings (you need to have edit permission).
